     The Magazine I have chosen to focus on were the Kiplinger line of magazines. These magazine have a key focus on finance. They are almost like guidebooks on how and why one should save and invest their earnings, an aspect that is pivotal to one"s adults life in the world of business. By just taking a look at the front cover of these three kiplinger magazines we can see the similarities in the conventions that were used to designed them. The Masthead for all three examples are generally the same. Big colorful letters are used to draw the audience in and makes it well known that it belongs to Kiplinger.. Right after that, Kplinger's iconic tag "Money smart living" is used to create a catchy and memorable lingo in the readers head making sure the magazine can be easily recognized and remembered.
